One of Germany’s longest bridges spans the Kiel Canal near Brunsbüttel with a height of 40 metres. The closer one approaches the building, the more impressive becomes its visual and acoustic appearance. For the workmen and engineers of the technical service crew, the bridge is an examination object. For this movie, the bridge becomes actor, sound body and metaphor.
